Dan Patlansky : Announces April / May 2017 UK Tour

Celebrated South African blues rock guitarist Dan Patlansky returns to the UK for his April / May 2017 UK Tour with special guest Ash Wilson. This will be the first tour Patlansky will undertake following his support slot on King King’s 2016 UK tour, and Joe Satriani’s 2015 UK and European tour.

The UK tour follows Patlansky’s recent accolade when his current album INTROVERTIGO was voted the #1 Blues Rock Album of 2016 by the Blues Rock Review. This marks the second time Patlansky has been voted #1 in Blues Rock Reviews’ Top 20 Albums. The first time was in 2014 with his previous studio album Dear Silence Thieves which featured the rock radio favourites Backbite and Fetch Your Spade.

Patlansky’s special guest is the Lincolnshire-based singer-songwriter Ash Wilson. Hailed as one of the UK’s most exciting and distinctive new vocalists, guitarists and songwriters in the British contemporary blues scene, Wilson’s debut album, Broken Machine, will be released 21st April and features bassist Roger Inniss (Chaka Khan, ex-Laurence Jones), keyboardist Bob Fridzema (King King), and guitarist Jesse Davey (The Hoax).

The UK tour dates include Mr Kyps, Poole (April 15), HRH Blues Festival, Sheffield (April 16) London’s Islington O2 Academy (May 2), Manchester Deaf Institute (May 3), Cardiff Globe (May 4), Bristol Tunnels (May 5) and The Factory, Barnstable (May 6).  Tickets are available from the 24 hour box office 0844 478 0898 or book online here
